The Vango Alpha tents are a fantastically affordable range of classic dome tents ideal for a wide variety of end users, such as the first time camper, festival goers and cycle/motorcycle campers. There are three sizes in the Vango Alpha range, the Alpha 200, 300 and 400, which are two, three and four man tents respectively. They are all relatively lightweight, easy to put up with a pitching time of ten minutes or less even for the amateur camper, and also has a small pack size making it easily portable. These camping tents are great for the first time camper in that the Fibreflex fibreglass poles are colour coded to make their identification easier and the tension webbing is reflective so that in poor weather conditions (or even after a few drinks), the tent is still easy to locate.
The vango alpha tents also have the following key features:
• They are made using Protex 2000 polyester waterproof fabric with taped seams, which offers high protection against the elements and remains durable aswell.
• They have a bath tub groundsheet and a pre-attached groundsheet in the porch area. The groundsheet is 5000mm hydrostatic minimum to ensure that the inner tent remains dry
• They are inner first pitching and the fly sheets have air vents to prevent the build up of condensation and allow continual airflow enhancing comfort
• In the porch area, the windows have been made bigger to let in more light during the day but they have covers on the inside so that privacy is still maintained.
• The heavy duty pole sleeves ensure even distribution of tension to prevent the risk of poles snapping on days where it is more windy.
• The inner door on the alpha tents are part mesh to prevent the build up of condensation and also keep the creepy crawlies out.
• There are lantern point loops and hooks conveniently placed to attach lighting.
• Storage inner pockets so that important things are able to be kept to hand
• An oversized carry bag makes the Alpha tents easy to pack away and;
