Monstrous in size, one of the largest family tents in the range of tents stocked the Outwell Maryland XL will sleep ten people inside its vastly spacious sleeping quarters. The central living area alone is 410cm by 320cm, creating massive living space and a great standing height of 205cm, that doesn’t even include the porch space. Slightly more complex in design than some of the other Outwell tents in the Avantgarde range, the Maryland XL will need a few experienced campers to help pitch it. The interior living space features the sealed groundsheet; however the groundsheet within the porch is removable for added convenience of cleaning and hygiene. A range of tent accessories are produced for this tent meaning you can accessorise the tent with a carpet or an extension to make it even bigger. This tent is recommend to the larger family wanting a high quality, well designed tent that is capable of sleeping a party of around ten people comfortably.

As well as increasing the durability of your Outwell tent, the Outwell carpet also improves the comfort and quality of your camping holiday. The  tent carpets are Polyester flannel top with a heavy PVC backing to help making your tent more homely. Specifically designed for each of the Outwell tent models, the carpets are custom fitted for the living area of your tent. The benefits of a Outwell tent carpet are:

The Outwell tent footprints are designed for the protection of your tent groundsheet and are designed specifically for each Outwell model of tent covering the living area of the tent perfectly. The benefits of a footprint are: 

• Helps mark out a clear position for erecting the tent


• Ensures the tent is kept cleaner when pitching the tent


• Provides additional insulation and waterproofing from damp that can rise upwards from the ground


• Ideal for fully sewn-in groundsheets as they are protected from rough surfaces, stones, etc which will in turn prolong the life of the tent


• Helps to keep the main tent cleaner when packing down as without the footprint, the tent will be wrapped up wet and muddy. Unfortunately this is the perfect breeding ground for mould, which totally ruins further use and enjoyment from your tent


• They can be wrapped up relatively small and then cleaned down and dried when you get home from your camping holiday
