This Dual Protector provides extra peace of mind for owners of the Outwell Cruiser 6AC, providing an extra barrier against overhead damage and weather discoloration. Outwell's innovative team have also added complementary functions to make this more than just protection. One facing is silver, which reflects heat away from your tent when facing up, whilst another layer is dark, which absorbs heat into your tent when placed facing upwards. Through this, you can control the climate of your tent. An integrated side canopy provides further reason to purchase this addition.

  • Silver Side up - reflect heat and sunlight away from the tent
  • Dark side will absorb heat into the tent
  • Side Canopy zips off in event of poor weather

Flysheet Fabric Outtex 3000 silver coated 100% polyester taffeta

Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation.

Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates.

Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties.
