Part of the Premium collection, the Florida has enhanced technical features to elevate the camping experience such as a fully sewn-in groundsheet, Quick and Quiet doors, ONS Light system compatibility and a Dual Front design for excellent versatility in different weather conditions.
Designed to sleep up to six people, the Florida 6 is comfortable for four to five people, offering a three-zone design, with large living spaces, darkened Ambassador bedrooms for a better night's sleep and a versatile porch space for relaxing, storage and dining.
Ideal For: Perfect for family campers wanting a premium family shelter with great comfort. The 150 Ripstop fabric retains great lightweight properties but offers excellent durability.
Key Features:
- Hybrid Construction: The shelter has an inflatable design for quick-pitching, with one steel pole for additional strength to the front of the tent, for greater versatility to the weather conditions. The hybrid design also reduces the overall weight of the tent for easier portability.
- Spacious Ambassador Bedrooms: The 230cm depth of the bedroom compartments is ideal for camp beds and larger airbeds. Furthermore, the sleeping compartments are darkened for better sleep and have mesh ventilation for airflow.
- Three-Zone Design: Social, storage and sleeping areas, the three-zone design is highly regarded by seasoned campers, as it offers unrivalled living space and versatility.
- Dual Front Design: It can be set up as an enclosed three-zone tent or with an open front canopy. The front door completely zips off to create an open porch in good weather conditions.
- Toggle-up Front Door: Offers a full panoramic view of the campsite, easy access, and ventilation with secondary mesh windows in the Dual Front Door panel.
- Quick and Quiet Access Doors: Magnetised doors on the entry points into the living and sleeping spaces. This avoids constantly unzipping and closing flysheet doors during the daytime.
- Tunnel Design: Easy to pitch, maximises sleeping and living space.
- Enclosed Sleeping Compartment: Fully sewn-in groundsheet throughout the living space to reduce drafts and offer protection from the elements and a separate sleeping inner.
- Darkened Inner Tent: To minimise light and improve sleep comfort (not a complete Blackout).
- Ventilation throughout: A mesh panel on the front door, mesh on the bedroom inners and mesh side door. This allows the tent to be aired in the morning to alleviate the effects of condensation and promote airflow on a warm day.
- Flexible access: side and front doors and fold flat groundsheet to the front for easy access.
- Wind Brace System: webbing to help support the air tubes to help prevent excess movement
- Hooktracks for hanging accessories such as lighting or storage systems.
- ONS Light Compatible

Berth |
6 Man
Details
Berth – This shows the number of people that the tent can sleep within the inner tents of a model of tent, in line with the industry standard. Normal procedure is to look for a slightly larger tent, for example, a family of four usually purchase a five or six berth tent, to give added room and comfort. |
Hydrostatic Head (mm) |
6000
Details
Hydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher. Measured by the height of water column a fabric weave can take before it begins to “sweat”. “Polycotton” tents will not have a Hydrostatic Head level, as they are not treated for waterproofing. |

Outtex® 6000mm Express Ripstop Polyester
Details
Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties. |
Fabric Denier |
150 Denier (Polyester)
Details
Denier - a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. The denier really reflects the lifetime to be expected of the tent, and how quickly, it will be affected by UV Degradation. |
