Perfect for touring camper vans, the Lakecrest drive away awning provides a spacious shelter, with solid aluminium poles. Quick and easy to set up, and set down, and designed to fit low height vehicles between 175 - 200cm.

The Lakecrest is a spacious, flexible awning designed by Outwell to be a great companion on active touring holiday, moving from location to location. It is poled with a porch design and will attach to the side of vans with an attachment height of between 175 and 200 cm making it ideal for the VW style camper van market. The highly waterproof Outtex 3000 Select Flysheet has a pole sleeve and clips to secure the Aluflex System of pre-bent aluminium poles, making it quick and easy to pitch, and just as easy to set down afterward.
The front door of the Lakecrest can be rolled away or pitched out as a canopy to improve ventilation inside, or to create a larger sheltered space perfect for socialising, cooking or relaxing.
Free-Standing Design - allows for it to be disconnected, and for the van to be driven off-site for a day of exploring, safe in the knowledge, it will be standing without the aid of the camper van.
The large link Access Zone has twin side doors to allow easy access to both the van and the awning, making it ideal to fit any van with the correct height connection - regardless of the position of the habitation door.

| Hydrostatic Head (mm) | 3000 Details Hydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher. | Flysheet Fabric | Outtex® 3000 Select, 100% polyester Details Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties. |
