The Outwell Montana 6P Dual Protector is a superb accessory for the tent, designed with a multitude of purposes, such as protecting the roof panel of the tent from staining and UV damage. Furthermore, the Dual protector is a huge upgrade on the roof protector, as it has a side canopy, which can be zipped to either side of the tent, to create additional shelter at the side of the tent.

  • Protecting the tent from bird limes, bird sap, UV rays, Rain etc.
  • Protecting the tent from heat by shading the roof and allowing air to flow below the Protector.
  • Reflects the sun for a cooler tent.
  • Black side out keeps the tent warm when the weather cools down.
  • Black side allows a longer sleep in the morning making the tent darker.
  • Zip on side canopy

Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation.

Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates.

Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties.
