The Elite collection, has the most product features, from Midnight bedrooms, a fully sewn-in groundsheet, and the patented SuperBeams, all of which aid a more comfortable camping experience. Also boasts a highly versatile design, with the ability to add side studios and additional inner bedrooms, to increase the living space. Manufactured in a lightweight, yet durable polyester fabric, which has a 150-Denier rating, ideal for our variable UK weather climate.
Ideal For: Couples or smaller families wanting a lighter weight, luxurious family shelter. Perfect for those who do not want the weight of the polycotton fabric, offering a durable 150 Denier polyester, which is 10kg lighter than the technical cotton model. Quick to pitch, reliable Airbeam designs ensure the product is ideal for touring. Could also be used for larger groups, due to the additional studio options, which can increase the sleeping capacity by up to four people.
Key Features:
- Sentinel Elite Fabric: A 150 Denier Polyester for enhanced durability, treated with Colourlok to slow the effects of UV degradation, whilst reducing water consumption in the manufacturing process by 60%. ColourLok also retains the natural colour during the UV degradation process.
- S.I Pro - Single-Inflation Point Technology: Allows the tent to be fully inflated from the front beam, whilst retaining the ability to individually inflate each beam. Combined with the Turbo pump, the S.I Pro technology makes pitching a doddle, simply peg the corners, add the pump, and leave to inflate for 7-8 minutes, until the tent reaches the desired pressure.
- Vango SuperBeams: Thicker, stronger air tubes offer a strong structure, to create a more durable product, which can withstand stronger weather conditions than the regular Airbeam tubes.
- Midnight Inner Bedrooms: The pre-hung inner bedrooms are the darkest Vango offer, helping to eliminate early morning light. These are not Blackout bedrooms, but they do remove significant amounts of daylight, whilst retaining a breathable fabric.
- Versatile Design: Can be used as a weekend tent, or a larger family shelter with the optional zip-on additions. Studio S or L offers zip-on compartments to increase the square footage and living space of the Anantara.
- TBS II System: Tension Band System - aids stability in windier conditions.
- NEW RainSafe Pole Door: To the front porch - newly designed, to cause minimum stress to the side door, and for easier pitching.
- Smart Pack Roller Bag: An innovative Vango feature, the bag has wheels and an intuitive packing system, to quicken the set-down process.

Berth | 6 Man Details Berth – This shows the number of people that the tent can sleep within the inner tents of a model of tent, in line with the industry standard. Normal procedure is to look for a slightly larger tent, for example, a family of four usually purchase a five or six berth tent, to give added room and comfort. |
Hydrostatic Head (mm) | 5000 Details Hydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher. Measured by the height of water column a fabric weave can take before it begins to “sweat”. “Polycotton” tents will not have a Hydrostatic Head level, as they are not treated for waterproofing. |

Flysheet Fabric | Sentinel Exclusive 150-Denier Polyester Fabric Details Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties. |
Fabric Denier | 150 Denier (Polyester) Details Denier - a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. The denier really reflects the lifetime to be expected of the tent, and how quickly, it will be affected by UV Degradation. |
Groundsheet Fabric | Double-coated polyethylene groundsheet, 10,000mm |
Inner Fabric | Breathable 100% polyester |
Window Fabric | Tinted Pro PVC Windows with Zipped Curtains |
Fire Retardant | Yes Details Fire Retardant – all modern tent fabrics are fire-retardant under EN5912 European Safety Laws. Caution with fire must always be used, as flame retardant fabrics, will still catch fire given the right circumstances. |
