Overview:

The Vango Tahiti 850xl Airbeam is now manufactured in a lightweight 70 Denier ECO fabric, to create a large spacious family tent, which can sleep up to eight people. Similar in design to the Ventanas and Anantara models, but featuring the pre-built side studio to use as an additional storage area, or to use with a bedroom inner for additional sleeping space to the side of the Tahiti (inner bedroom included with product). In addition to this, the Tahiti is manufactured in the new Sentinel Eco Dura fabric, which is perfect for those conscious of looking after the environment as it is made from 100% recycled single-use plastics, with a Hydrostatic Head of 3000mm offering a great waterproof rating.

Ideal For: Families or larger groups needing vast living space, sleeping quarters, and full standing height. With an inflatable design perfect for quick-pitching and setting down, suitable for touring camping. Ideal for Spring to Summer use in fair weather conditions.

Three-Zone Design: A large front enclosed porch, a large living space, and Nightfall bedrooms create a huge family shelter, with plenty of versatile living space. Furthermore, there is a large 2-person inner to the side pod ideal for additional storage or sleeping spaces.
Sewn-in Groundsheet: Ideal for keeping bugs and draughts out, and increasing the comfort of the family home.
Airbeam Design: A unique design, this family shelter uses an Airbeam structure to create a wonderful double living space, with a pre-attached front awning offering great living space to the front. The inflatable design of the Tahiti allows it to be inflated in ten minutes, with an overall pitching time of 18 minutes for the entire shelter. The Phantom Air pump is included and rolled inside the middle.
Nightfall Bedrooms: The Nightfall deep-sleep bedrooms are darkened inners to maximise the sleeping time and offer plenty of width and length (245cm depth), which is much better for double camp beds or queen-size airbeds. The fabric is darker which helps to slow early morning light from waking you in the morning. This is particularly ideal if you have young children, as it will be easier to get them to sleep in the evening. The fabric is not a complete blackout, so there will still be some light in the sleeping space.
Mesh Ventilation: Further to this, there are mesh panels built into the side doorways and internal windows, which helps to add plenty of airflow and ventilation into the Tahiti, in both the main living space and the front enclosed awning. Air tents are particularly susceptible to condensation, so mesh ventilation will help reduce the effects of this issue.
There are also four electrical access points, situated in a convenient location for easy electrical access.

The Earth collection aims to recycle 16 million pieces of plastic into outdoor equipment by the end of 2023. Berth	8 Man Details Berth – This shows the number of people that the tent can sleep within the inner tents of a model of tent, in line with the industry standard. Normal procedure is to look for a slightly larger tent, for example, a family of four usually purchase a five or six berth tent, to give added room and comfort.
Hydrostatic Head (mm)	3000 Details Hydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher. Measured by the height of water column a fabric weave can take before it begins to “sweat”. “Polycotton” tents will not have a Hydrostatic Head level, as they are not treated for waterproofing.

Flysheet Fabric	Sentinel Eco Dura with ColourLok Details Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties.
Fabric Denier	70 Denier (Polyester) Details Denier - a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. The denier really reflects the lifetime to be expected of the tent, and how quickly, it will be affected by UV Degradation.
