The Vango Tuscany 400 is a Proshield caravan awning, which is designed for touring purposes, but does give a heavier duty, mid-range offering. The Tuscany offers one of the larger designs of this type, with a four metre width, and masses of living space. The Single-Point Airbeam inflation design really makes it easy to pitch, and it can be inflated from one location.
A large, stylish caravan awning, which is ideal for larger caravans with a greater width. The Tuscany Air 400 is part of the Elements ProShield collection, which is the Vango mid-range touring awnings, offering durable, reliable options for shorter term pitching. The ProShield is highly weather resistant , with Colourlok technology, which is designed to lower the effects of UV degradation, and UV fading, giving a greater lifetime to the product.
Further to this, it features the Airbeam Single-Point inflation technology, which has really improved the Vango range, as it makes them simpler to pitch, and ideal for automated pitching, with the addition of the Turbo electric pump (sold separately). It can be deflated in just as quicker time, with the multi-deflation points, which are quick and easy to let the air out of the tube system. It also has bracer beams throughout, which help to create greater structure,.
The Tuscany is also very versatile, as the front doors can be zipped out and replaced with mesh panels, to create greater airflow inside, and help reduce condensation. The side doors can also be removed, to be replaced with the annex, which allows for storage space, or with a Midnight inner tent, which is supplied with the optional annex.

Fabric Denier | 300 Denier (ProShield Awnings) Details Denier - a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. The denier really reflects the lifetime to be expected of the tent, and how quickly, it will be affected by UV Degradation. |

Awning Type | Caravan Seasonal (Temporary) Details Seasonal: A caravan awning specifically designed for touring, and temporary camping pitches. Ideal for fair weather campers, needing an awning for shorter trips. Usually uses lighter fabrics, for easier portability, and easier pitching. Residential: Ideal for those camping for longer durations, wanting an awning that can be left pitched all season, or for a month or more at a time. Residential awnings usually use heavier weight fabrics, designed to last longer, and not fade as fast in the UV sunshine rays. Fixed VW Awnings: Reliant on the van or motorhome for the structure of the product. Van cannot be removed offsite once the awning is set up. |
