Vango Tuscany Air 500 Elements Proshield Caravan Awning is the largest in the Vango air away caravan collection. The Tuscany is part of the Proshield awning collection, which utilises 300-Denier fabric, and has the Single-Point Airbeam inflation system, for easy, hassle-free pitching.
A fantastic caravan awning for touring, the Vango Tuscany 500 is very versatile, offering great flexibility over shorter-term camping trips during the Spring to Summer time. With the latest Airbeam technology embedded, the Single-Point inflation system allows it to be pitched from one central location. Further to this, it has the Superbeams, with a 13cm diameter, making them stronger, and able to cope with the weight and quality of the 300-Denier fabric.
The Elements ProShield fabric is made to be very durable, treated with the latest Colourlok technology, which slows the effects of UV degradation, prolonging the lifetime of the awning. The internal living space offers a five metre width, allowing for masses of versatile living space, which can be used for socialising, storage or sleeping space. There are optional accessories such as the Annex for an additional two berth sleeping compartment, and the Mesh Doors offer greater breathability on warmer days. | Fabric Denier | 300 Denier (ProShield Awnings) Details Denier - a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. The denier really reflects the lifetime to be expected of the tent, and how quickly, it will be affected by UV Degradation. |

| Flysheet Fabric | Elements 150 Fabric with Colourlok Technology Details Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties. |
