Huddersfield Store - History   

Our first ever Outdoor World store was launched on the High Street in Huddersfield, on the 28th November, 1999. Founded by Eric Scotland (Managing Director), we opened our doors to the general public stocking a few quintessential outdoor brands. Over the years, hard work and investment have led to us stocking some of the finest outdoor brands on the market place, from North Face in the clothing sector, to Vango and Outwell in the camping sector.  

Why Move Shops? 

Our old shop on the High Street is off-site now in the town, with the growth of the shopping centres such as the Piazza Centre and the Kingsgate Centre. The town has changed drastically from when we first opened our doors and it was time that we changed with it. Our new shop on Princess Alexandra Walk is a more convenient store in terms of location making it more ideal for the customer. 

Click and Collect

How to use the "Click and Collect" Service  

1)   Search our range of products.

2)   Add products to your cart/basket.

3)   Click "Proceed to checkout".

4)   At step 4 of checkout (shipping Method).

5)   Choose which location you want to collect from.

6)   Select either "Collect from Store" or "Collect from Warehouse".

7)   Select payment method and complete order. 

What Happens next  

1)   Please supply a contact number when placing your order so we can contact you.

2)   We will contact you to confirm your order and arrange a time and day your collection will be ready.

3)   Print out your invoice to bring with you when you collect.

4)   Come along and meet the team to collect your goods. (We don't bite, only at dinner time.)
