Overview:

The Coleman Journeymaster XL is a poled drive-away camper van awning, that offers superb versatility, living space, and storage space to the side of the camper van. Manufactured using a durable 150 Denier polyester fabric, which is highly waterproof with a Hydrostatic Head of 6000mm, whilst still retaining lightweight properties, making the shelter ideal for touring purposes. The Journeymaster has a pitching time of approximately 25 minutes and has a large connecting panel, which connects the awning to the camper van, with a pre-attached 6mm Kador rail. The connecting panel offers a "go-between" the shelter and the camper van, and disconnects from the van, and rolls against the side of the Journeymaster.

The interior is vast in terms of living space, and has a four-berth inner tent installed to the rear of the product, making the shelter the perfect accomplice if you have guests or family needing a place to sleep. The Blackout Bedrooms reduce early morning light and are ideal for getting children to sleep and keeping them in a routine, or for those who simply love a lie-in. The living space also has a sewn-in groundsheet with a drop-down door to the front, ideal for wheelchairs and prams.

Methods of Attachment

1. Pre Attached Kador Rail 6mm - slides straight into a rail, or wind out awning. (Fiamma Requires a 4mm Drive Away Kit). Purchase a drive-away kit for the ability to be able to drive off-site.
2. Velcro Straps - easily attach to roof bars should the van have these.
3. Sleeve for Pole and Clamp Kit to allow for older styles of van which have a gutter fitted to the side of the van.
4. 8M Storm Straps - can be thrown over the vehicle and pegged down the other side.

FACTORY SECONDS EXPLANATION

This awning has been tested by our Quality Control team who detected a potential fading issue on the black fabric strip around the bottom of the fly sheet. This can discolour over time from exposure to sunlight to a brown colour. It will still perform to the same high standards. So you can have fun using it, save it from landfill and make a great saving.

“Rigorous testing has shown that under continuous UV exposure (400~800nm) fading sometimes occurred. The strength, waterproofness and longevity of the fabric is not affected. The issue may not occur at all (depending on the strength, length, and direction of UV exposure).”
