Part of the tour range, the Easy Camp Palmdale 500 Lux is a 5-berth tent perfect for adventurous families. The lightweight polyester fabric and flexible fibreglass poles with a range of great features, making the Palmdale an excellent first-time tent for those on a budget.

The Easy Camp Palmdale 500 Lux tent is the perfect shelter for active families, a 5-berth split into 2 bedrooms, each side is separated by a toggled divider, giving two sleeping compartments. The Palmdale also benefits from a three-zone design, promoting plenty of living space, sleeping space, and storage space. With a simple pole and sleeve design, the tent remains lightweight, for a large 5-berth tent, and also offers a simple-pitching design.
There is a fully sheltered area to the front, which is ideal as a wet zone to keep damp clothing or bikes stored, and an ideal space to sit when the weather is good, to shelter from the sunshine. Further to this, there is a fully sewn-in groundsheet, which offers a comfortable living space, reduces draughts into the tent, and helps stop bugs from getting into the living space. The living area has large windows, which have toggled privacy curtains, and features a front and side door, with mesh panel to help aid airflow throughout the tent.

| Berth | 5 Man Details Berth – This shows the number of people that the tent can sleep within the inner tents of a model of tent, in line with the industry standard. Normal procedure is to look for a slightly larger tent, for example, a family of four usually purchase a five or six berth tent, to give added room and comfort. |
| Hydrostatic Head (mm) | 3000 Details Hydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation.
