Dome Tent – Two or three fiberglass / aluminium poles, which criss-cross over to create a free-standing dome style tent.

Pod Tent – is a large family tent, which has bedroom pods coming off a large living room area, bit like a space station.

Tunnel tent – a tent with a curved / hoop design like a “tunnel” that gives you much more head room throughout, and great flexibility in terms of living space. 

Vis-à-vis – a tent layout where there’s bedrooms at either side of the living room.

Tipi - uses a central pole to create a strong, rigid, triangular shape.
