- Weight: 28.3kg
- Pack Size: 87 * 35cm
Following on from the popularity of the Klondike bell tent, Robens introduce the Klondike Twin, essentially two Klondike models merged to create a large internal living space that can accommodate up to 12 campers. It makes an ideal space for glamping space for larger groups or families needing plenty of living space. Complete with a stove port to allow the addition of a tent stove heater, to warm the entire tent through the cooler camping trips in the Spring and Autumn.
Further to this, the Klondike Twin Tipi retains the heritage of the Outback collection, with Hydrotex Polycotton fabric, which retains its lightweight properties, strength, and breathability, also giving great weatherproof elements to the design of the tent. The design is simple to pitch with the alloy poles for the centre masts, and a simple a-frame above the front door.
Polycotton Fabric: a blended fabric of cotton (35%) and polyester (65%), giving durability to the product, which allows it to be used for longer camping holidays, whilst also offering superb ventilation, to reduce the build-up of condensation throughout the tent.
Zip-off Groundsheet: the internal groundsheet can be removed for cleaning, by zipping out. Perfect for enhancing the lifetime and cleanliness of the tent. The groundsheet also has zips to open in the middle for the stove port.
Alloy Poles: Central alloy poles with a diameter of 52mm, and a simple a-frame pole (22mm) create a strong, rigid design.

Flysheet Fabric | HydroTex Polycotton, 65% polyester / 35% cotton Details Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties. |
Fabric Denier | Polycotton (35% Cotton / 65% Polyester) Details Denier - a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. The denier really reflects the lifetime to be expected of the tent, and how quickly, it will be affected by UV Degradation. |
Groundsheet Fabric | 210T Oxford polyester, 10.000 mm, 100% polyester |
Window Fabric | Ventilation points that allow light and airflow. |
Fire Retardant | Yes Details Fire Retardant – all modern tent fabrics are fire-retardant under EN5912 European Safety Laws. Caution with fire must always be used, as flame retardant fabrics, will still catch fire given the right circumstances. |
