Overview:
The award-winning Vango Nitestar Alpha 250S sleeping bag is now available in a shorter length, making this an ideal bag for teenagers on the Duke of Edinburgh course, or adventure camping with family. The Nitestar 250S has a max user height of 175cm, but has all the same features as the regular version, with a double-offset layer construction to trap warmth, and a mummy shape to create a comfortable, cosy feeling.
Ideal for three-season use, the sleeping bag is perfect for Spring through to Autumn, with a suggested usage of 2°, and an extreme temperature rating of -21°. The Polair lining is exceptionally soft, and warm creating a better sleeping environment. Added comfort is provided by the 3D hood with drawcord closure to stop the cold air from getting into the sleeping bag near the shoulder area.

- Ripstop Fabric - Strong, breathable and machine washable
- Offset Construction / Double layered - The first layer of insulation is stitched into place and a second layer is added, ensuring the stitching is not aligned. This offset design minimizes heat loss by reducing cold spots, which improves the overall efficiency of the sleeping bag.
- Mummy shape - Increases thermal efficiency and helps reduce pack size and weight.
- Hanging Loops - ideal when storing for the day or to dry the bag out if required.
- Left Zip with Auto-Lock - As you sleep in the bag the zip is on the left, ideal for right-handed people. The auto-lock prevents the zips from moving during sleep and can be used from the inside to adjust ventilation accordingly.
- Zip Baffle - Insulation along the length of the zip helps avoid and reduce cold spots
- Anti-snag piping - To avoid the zip catching on the fabric for easy opening and closing of the bag.
