Overview:

The Outwell Jacksondale 7pa offers a comfortable, large family tent perfect for camping adventures throughout Spring to Summer, ideal for larger groups and families needing plenty of versatile living space. The inflatable design ensures the process of pitching the shelter is easy, and quick, allowing the tent to be pitched in roughly 15 minutes, making it ideal for those away for shorter-term camping trips, or touring. Furthermore, the three-zone nature of the Jacksondale ensures it offers perfect living space, with an enclosed front porch perfect for storage, while also offering huge internal living and sleeping space, complete with a fully sewn-in groundsheet.

Three Zone Design: A versatile tunnel structure enables different living spaces within the Jacksondale to ensure there is space for a growing family and all the equipment and gear that might need to be stored.
Inflatable Structure: Boasting an inflatable design, each tube is easily inflated within two minutes per beam, offering a quicker pitching time, than trying to wrestle with poles. Furthermore, the inflatable nature makes the packing away process quick and effective.
Quick & Quiet Door Access: Noiseless entry and exit into the shelter is enabled with magnetised doorways into the living space and sleeping compartments. This allows for you to easily check on the children at night without waking them with loud zips. The Quick and Quiet is also backed with zipped doors for closing the tent off of an evening before sleep, and when you go out for the day.
Dark Premier Bedrooms: A new feature of Outwell is the darker bedrooms, which help reduce early morning light for a more productive sleeping experience. The inners are not complete blackouts, but will significantly reduce daylight inside the sleeping compartments.
Ventilation: Each doorway is backed with a secondary mesh panel, with large ventilation points throughout the shelter, and to the rear of the Jacksondale where the bedroom compartments reside. Due to the polyester nature of the shelter, condensation is not uncommon, so it is important to have a healthy airflow throughout to reduce the effects of condensation.

Berth	7 Man Details Berth – This shows the number of people that the tent can sleep within the inner tents of a model of tent, in line with the industry standard. Normal procedure is to look for a slightly larger tent, for example, a family of four usually purchase a five or six berth tent, to give added room and comfort.
Hydrostatic Head (mm)	4000 Details Hydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher. Measured by the height of water column a fabric weave can take before it begins to “sweat”. “Polycotton” tents will not have a Hydrostatic Head level, as they are not treated for waterproofing.

Flysheet Fabric	Outtex® 4000 Select polyester Details Polyester – a synthetic fibre, made from polymer units to create a textile fabric. Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton - a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. Ripstop Nylon – a durable material used in tents which is strong and repairable due to its Ripstop properties.
Fabric Denier	70 Denier (Polyester) Details Denier - a measurement used to determine the thickness of the tent flysheet. It relates to the fibre thickness, or thread counts used. The thicker the fabric, generally the stronger, and more durable the fabric will be. The denier really reflects the lifetime to be expected of the tent, and how quickly, it will be affected by UV Degradation.
